PART 2 : “Sarah, wait!”

The sound tore through the airport lounge, slicing past rolling suitcases and quiet conversations.

Heads snapped up.

The camera whipped across startled faces—

and found him.

Running.

Breath ragged.

Eyes locked on one person only.

Sarah.

She sat still beneath the glowing departure board, boarding pass in her hand, like she had already left everything behind.

He reached her—

grabbed her—

pulled her into him.

“Don’t go.”

Tight.

Desperate.

Real.

Her eyes closed against his shoulder.

Pain slipping through calm.

“I have to… your mother won’t accept me.”

The words hit between them like distance made real.

He pulled back.

Breathing hard.

Shaking.

Then—

his hand moved.

Into his pocket.

Out came a ring.

Simple.

Bright.

Certain.

He took her hand—

slid it onto her finger.

“Then I’m coming with you.”

Silence.

Sharp.

Passengers froze.

Someone gasped.

The world narrowed to that single moment.

Sarah stared at the ring.

Then at him.

Everything she was holding together—

breaking.

And then—

a sound.

Behind them.

“My son…”

The camera snapped—

his mother.

Collapsed to her knees.

Composure gone.

Reaching toward them.

“I was trying to protect you…”

Her voice cracked open in front of strangers.

Sarah turned.

Eyes caught between love and something deeper.

Something harder.

The announcement cut through the air—

“Final call.”

No one moved.

No one breathed.

And just as Sarah stepped forward—

Black.

Heartbeat.

Bass hit.
