PART 2: The orchestra echoed softly beneath the crystal chandeliers while wealthy guests drifted across the marble ballroom with glasses of champagne glowing in the warm gold light.

Then—

everything snapped sideways.

A barefoot girl in a torn brown dress burst through the crowd and grabbed the hand of the pale boy sitting in the luxury motorized wheelchair.

The camera whip-panned violently as the chair jerked sharply across the marble floor.

Gasps exploded around the room.

Champagne glasses froze midair.

The girl’s dirty fingers locked tightly around his sleeve while her breathing trembled unevenly.

“Come with me.”

The boy stared at her in stunned silence.

The ballroom slowed around them.

The elegant orchestra faded beneath a low rising hum.

She pointed shakily toward his legs.

“Leave with me… and I’ll make you walk.”

Silence.

Complete.

The camera pushed hard into the boy’s face.

Fear.

Confusion.

Then something almost painful appeared in his eyes.

Hope.

Heavy footsteps suddenly thundered across the marble.

The camera whip-panned again.

A tall man in a gray suit stormed toward them through the crowd, his face pale with fury.

“Get away from him!”

But the girl didn’t let go.

Not even slightly.

The man came closer, voice sharper now.

“Inside. Now. This isn’t a joke.”

The boy looked between them.

Terrified.

Breathing harder.

The guests whispered nervously around the edges of the ballroom.

The gray-suited man reached for the girl’s arm—

and stopped.

Because the boy’s trembling fingers had suddenly tightened around hers.

Another wave of gasps swept across the ballroom.

The girl looked only at the boy now.

Completely calm.

Completely certain.

“Because your mother asked me to.”

Heartbeat.

Slow.

Violent.

The camera slammed into an extreme close-up of the gray-suited man’s face as all the color drained from it instantly.

Across the ballroom—

a woman’s champagne glass slipped from her fingers.

SMASH.

Crystal exploded across the marble floor.

The man in gray whispered almost soundlessly,

“No…”

DEEP CINEMATIC BASS HIT.

HARD CUT TO BLACK.

“Part 2 in the comments.”
